Community Elevation Program
Mural at Peeler Recreation Center
The Community Elevation Program supports artistic projects in East Greensboro that reflect and uplift the community’s history, creativity, and connections.
Art and culture play a role in community development and revitalization by using creative solutions to preserve, enhance, and strengthen Guilford County neighborhoods. The community is at the center of these projects.
The program is location specific and focuses on the unique needs of East Greensboro. 2026 projects are taking place in the Warnersville community and surrounding areas. Projects center on providing value and impact through community engagement, having a sustainable impact, and having a historical preservation component.
